Map Expansion, Store Rebalance & Identity Update
  • Practice map count doubled — 16 easy, 18 medium, 16 hard, 12 expert (automated quality testing selects best seeds by path complexity)
  • Store prices rebalanced at roughly 2× for mid-tier and premium items to better reflect progression depth
  • Expert difficulty now awards 225 coins on a personal best (was incorrectly defaulting to 15)
  • Alternate path bonus extended to Expert difficulty (+100 coins on a new best)
  • Profiles and leaderboard now show your Discord display name instead of your account handle
  • Beta Tester badge added — gentle glow pulse, visible on leaderboard and public profiles
  • <DEV> tag color now synced to public profiles via server — color picker changes are visible to everyone
  • Expert reset cooldown on first attempts — 4-second buffer prevents mine-mapping by spamming reset
  • Offensive display names are silently replaced with a neutral placeholder — the player can still log in and play
  • Server-side solve validation: difficulty is now derived from the puzzle ID, and sub-500ms solves are rejected

  • XP bar on profile: shows current level, earned tier label, and progress toward the next milestone

  • Lv1/5/15 titles are static — unique animations unlock from Lv30 onward
  • Locked In: rapid twitch → snaps bold and bright → slow fade back to normal

Expert Mode, Alternate Paths & Progress Reset
  • Expert difficulty: 8×8 grid with 14 hidden mines — no full-fill required, just connect anchors 1–6
  • 1-second mine preview at puzzle start; stepping on a hidden mine resets your path and re-reveals mines
  • Expert appears in the daily rotation (1 in every 8 days) and has 6 practice puzzles
  • Alternate path detection — finding a valid non-canonical solution awards bonus coins (+30/+50/+75 by difficulty)
  • Achievement revamp: sweep badges use fixed counts (10/10/5) instead of all-puzzles totals
  • Speed Demon now requires under 20s (was 60s); Quick Draw under 45s (was 90s)
  • Hard Boiled badge requires a hard puzzle solved in under 2 seconds
  • All-Rounder (was Completionist) requires 5 solves in each difficulty tier
  • Past daily puzzles now appear in the Practice tab under their respective difficulty
  • Store is now fixed-height and shows 3 columns on wider screens
  • Progress reset: all solve records and streaks cleared — coins and cosmetics preserved
